Called by Grace, Carried by Mercy

Called by Grace, Carried by Mercy

Revd. Adam explores what it means to be “located” by God’s grace. Through the story of Matthew the tax collector, you discover that being despised by society doesn’t make you invisible to God. Jesus actively searches for those on the margins, those forgotten and ignored. Matthew was seen as a collaborator with Rome, a social outcast, yet Jesus chose him. The sermon challenges you to recognise that God’s grace works like a magnet, seeking out those overlooked by community and family. When you feel unnoticed, uncared for, unworthy—God has already found you. That’s God’s nature: to locate the forgotten and draw them into love and belonging.
