“I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Jesus teaches that following him isn’t about finding a map—it’s about finding a person. A satnav tells you where to go, but Jesus walks with you. A map shows a destination, but Jesus promises a home. The Christian life is following the way: knowing Jesus means knowing truth grounded in Scripture, the fruits of the spirit, and God’s presence. It means living life in all its fullness. You don’t need fast cars or high fashion. You need Jesus, who offers hope in difficult times and love that never fails. That’s the way.
Readings:
- Psalm 121 – I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved. The Lord is your keeper, your shade at your right hand.
- John 14:1-7 – Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
