God invites us into radical root mobility. Abram left everything to follow God’s call. Moses uprooted his life to free a people. Peter and Andrew left their nets. We live between certainty and confusion—the “messy middle”—where we can’t see the finish line yet. You want easy answers about God, but scripture doesn’t give you that. It gives you testimony from generations: God liberates the oppressed, God cares about justice, God enters suffering in Jesus. No single story contains the fullness of God. When your roots shake and you’re between the Red Sea and the Egyptian army, remember: God has proven faithful across centuries. Trust the fuller picture.
