The Ghanaian Methodist Fellowship Chaplaincy choir was formed in the year 2001 by few dedicated Methodist members based in the UK under the supervision of the Ghanaian Methodist Fellowship UK. (GMF UK).It started with only 14 members and now has grown to about 60 active members.  The choir brings together Ghanaian choristers based in the UKtogether and also to bring the Ghanaian form of worship and praises to our local Churches in the UK. They specialise in Hymns, choruses and praise songs.

The Choir has performed in various events, for example at the memorial thanksgiving service for the Late Rob Frost at the Westminster Central Hall and again at the Easter people festival at Camden Town earlier this year. The Chaplaincy choir was invited to participate in the celebration of the inauguration of the London District in the year 2006 and also during the celebrations of Ghana’s 50th Anniversary in the presence of the President of Ghana (HRH J A Kuffour).

This was an evening to be remembered! a real sense of praise ans worship as people joined in – and danced!
