Irish singer songwriter Gareth Davies-Jones, is an acoustic guitarist, whose melodies and lyrics challenge, haunt and inspire.
Gareth draws much of his inspiration from his Northumbrian home. Many of his songs challenge injustice in the world and he works with Christian Aid and Traidcraft to promote fair trade. Other songs reflect his celtic origins and draw on his own experiences and faith journey. As a relative newcomer to the professional Christian music world, Gareth was unknown to many of the audience at Café Arts, but certainly made a big impression.
