Worship & Faith

All need to be saved.
All may be saved.
All may know themselves saved.
All may be saved to the uttermost.

Our Church is a Christian church within the Methodist tradition. For more information about Methodism, the Methodist church website is worth looking at. For more information about the Christian faith, reJesus has a lot of articles answering many of the common questions and is recommended by the Methodist Church.

Worship

As Christians, meeting together is very important to us. We meet twice on a Sunday and during the week for study groups.

In many ways, our worship is similar to many other Christian groups. It always includes times of praise and thanksgiving, readings from the Bible and prayers for others. It is said about Methodism that it was ‘born in song’ and music and singing are very important to us. Our Sunday worship has a mixture of traditional and contemporary hymns and worship songs. Sometimes our services are of a traditional format and other times it involves contemporary ‘fresh expressions’ of worship. At regular intervals we share in Holy Communion.

Methodism has a tradition of Ministers and Local Preachers leading worship, and so we have a variety of people leading worship on a Sunday.

Whoever is leading worship, you assured of a warm welcome.

Many of our services are recorded and can be found in the sermon archive.
